We represent Katerina Plew in her patent infringement case against Limited Brands, Victoria's Secret Stores and a number of related entities. Victoria's Secret's "100 Ways" bra infringes Katerina's patented design.

On August 4, 2010, United States District Judge Laura Taylor Swain denied the defendants' motions for summary judgment on the issues of patent infringement and invalidity and cleared the case for trial.  Katerina will now have the opportunity to present her case to a jury.  No trial date has yet been set.

The case has attracted extraordinary press attention.  When the complaint was filed in April 2008, major articles appeared in the online and print editions of the New York Times, Post, Daily News, Newsday and the Times of London. Scores of papers around the world have run the Reuters wire stories. Katerina has appeared on every New York City local network news program and on several national network shows. Steve Chin and Katerina appeared together on the Fox News Channel, and Charlie von Simson and Katerina were guests on the Dr. Phil Show.
